The Laramie Project
Written by Moisès Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project
Directed by John Warren

This controversial, evocative play examines the reaction of residents in the town of Laramie, Wyoming following the tragic death of Matthew Shepard, a local college student killed by a hate crime. Fourteen TAM advanced drama students will play over 50 roles conveying the stories of these residents who faced this tragic event.

Conservatory Theatre Ensemble, TAM High School’s student theatre company, presents this important and provocative play for its first full-length production in the new Daniel Caldwell Theatre under the direction of John Warren of Unconditional Theatre. Mr. Warren is a guest artist who previously collaborated and directed 3 other documentary theatre works with CTE students that transferred for short runs at Marin Theatre Company, most recently “Are We Married Yet?”.
